Treehouse
Project Description
Tucked away on a quiet corner in upper Canggu, Bali, the first two Treehouse Studios overlook sweeping rice fields, offering travelers a deep connection to nature through a unique two-storey indoor-outdoor living experience. Built as part of a 745 sqm complex adjoining Grün Canggu, the studios are envisioned as elevated weekend retreats—a sanctuary beyond the rhythm of daily life.
Anchored by a private plunge pool, outdoor deck, and alfresco dining area, the arrival sequence invites guests into an intimate embrace with the landscape. A spiral staircase leads upward to warm, wood-lined interiors, blending Japanese sensibility with Balinese craftsmanship. Vibrant accents and indoor greenery create a space designed for both contemplation and leisure.
Every element is crafted for efficiency and comfort—the custom L-shaped sofa serves as a lounge, workspace, and storage unit in one. Expansive glass doors extend the living space onto a large balcony, framing uninterrupted views of the rice fields and blurring the boundary between inside and out.
The studio’s 6x6 meter interior, complemented by a 9 sqm balcony, offers 45 sqm of refined living space, ideal for one-bedroom escapes. Designed with short- and mid-term stays in mind, the treehouse combines minimalist design, privacy, and 5-star hospitality. Its architectural plans are also available for purchase, allowing the spirit of the Treehouse Studios to be reimagined anywhere in the world.
