Together 12th Bar
Project Description
The architectural narrative of the space is deeply rooted in the philosophy of togetherness, where design seamlessly integrates spatial elements to foster a sense of unity and connection. Positioned on the 12th floor, the layout orchestrates an immersive experience by harmonizing distinct functional zones—kitchen, bar, and seating—into a cohesive whole. Locally sourced Indian materials, such as Dholpur stone and Indian teak wood, form the backbone of the design, lending a warm yet refined aesthetic. These materials not only serve as a visual delight but also function as natural sound absorbents, enhancing both the sensory and acoustic quality of the space. The interplay of textures is further accentuated by the rhythmic wooden lattice, which juxtaposes vertical and horizontal arrangements, creating a structured yet dynamic atmosphere. Minimal rose gold-plated lighting elements subtly punctuate the interiors, reinforcing the refined material palette while aligning with the branding and identity of the venue.
Spatial fluidity is a defining characteristic, with the design unfolding as a journey through various experiences. A narrow transitional passage welcomes guests, leading them into an expansive dining area where exposed concrete and wooden slats establish a dialogue of contrast and continuity. The spatial choreography ensures equilibrium between aesthetics and function—placing the kitchen strategically at the far end of the gallery space to optimize flow while situating the bar at the opposite end to balance the energy of the venue. The open terrace, flooded with natural light, enhances the sense of openness, seamlessly connecting the indoors with the outdoors. The design achieves an intricate balance between complexity and ease of movement, where every element, from materiality to spatial organization, contributes to an environment that fosters gathering, engagement, and a collective experience.
