Project Description

This site office in Raipur serves as an experiential space where visitors can explore the key concepts of a premium apartment development. Beyond its functional role, it exemplifies the project's dedication to context-sensitive design, innovative thinking, and a biophilic approach. Positioned at a prominent city junction, the office leverages natural light as a core design element. Inspired by the play of sunlight through a tin roof, the structure features a perforated facade reminiscent of Shibori patterns. The circular cutouts, larger at the base and smaller towards the top, filter light in a dynamic yet controlled manner, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow throughout the day.

Painted in a striking terracotta red, the building’s facade glows under the sun, making it a recognizable landmark. Inside, the interiors are minimalist and elegant, using materials like mild steel, wood, and patterned ceramic tiles. The L-shaped layout includes a reception, offices, and meeting spaces, anchored by a versatile multipurpose room. Open courtyards serve as visual breaks and natural ventilation points, improving air quality and user well-being. Elevated by 1.5 feet, the structure appears to float, while brise soleils shield the interiors from harsh sunlight. This site office is a testament to light as a transformative element, blending function with artistic expression.
