Luxe Melange
Project Description
This multi-generational home was designed to celebrate unity while embracing the diverse personalities of its residents. With grandparents, parents, and two musically inclined sons under one roof, the space needed to reflect both individuality and togetherness. To achieve this, walls were removed, creating an open and fluid layout that encourages connection and seamless interaction between rooms. The design not only enhances spaciousness but also reinforces the family’s values of inclusivity, making it an inviting environment for frequent social gatherings with their extended family and friends.
Luxury was introduced in a subtle yet sophisticated manner, ensuring an elegant ambiance without excess. A muted color palette, minimal textures, and premium materials created a refined aesthetic, while elements of Marwari heritage, such as a vintage wall panel with Gujarat’s handblock patterns, added cultural depth. The dining area became a statement space, featuring an exquisite Italian Lenzi marble table paired with tan leather chairs, adding a striking contrast to the subdued tones. This multi-generational duplex stands as a testament to tradition, understated opulence, and a design that seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary comfort.
